Service Description

Paragonix is an AI-powered receipt scanning and bill splitting service that allows users to:

• Upload receipt images for OCR and AI parsing
• Split items among multiple participants
• Track who owes what in real-time collaboration
• Export receipt data for record keeping

Important: Only authenticated users may upload receipts. The service is provided free of charge and supported by advertisements.

User Obligations

By using Paragonix, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Use the service only for its intended purpose
• Not upload prohibited content (see below)

Prohibited Content

Violation of this prohibition may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Abuse, harass, or threaten other users
• Send spam or unsolicited messages
• Attempt to hack, compromise, or disrupt the service
• Reverse engineer or decompile the service
• Use automated tools to scrape or download data
• Impersonate other users or entities
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

"Paragonix" is a trademark of Alibee. All service design, code, user interface, and content are protected by copyright and owned by Alibee (Tax ID: 5792070360).

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the service without explicit written permission.

User Content and Ownership

Users retain all rights to uploaded receipt images. By uploading content, you grant Paragonix a license to process, store, and display your receipts as necessary to provide the service.

AI-generated parsed data (JSON structures, extracted text) has no copyright protection and may be used by Alibee to improve services, train models, and enhance accuracy.

Liability and Disclaimers

The service is provided "AS-IS" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties regarding accuracy of OCR and AI parsing
• Warranties of uninterrupted or error-free service
• Warranties regarding data security or availability

OCR and AI parsing may contain errors. Users must verify critical information independently. Do not rely solely on parsed data for financial or legal decisions.

Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alibee's total liability for any claims arising from use of Paragonix is limited to €0 / 0 zł (zero). Alibee shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms or use of the service:

1. Mediation First: Parties agree to first attempt resolution via an online mediation platform, with costs borne by the party initiating the dispute.
2. Court Proceedings: If mediation fails or is declined, disputes will be resolved under Polish law in Polish courts with exclusive jurisdiction.

This dispute resolution clause applies regardless of which domain (.pl, .com, .co.uk) you use to access the service.

Rate Limits and Restrictions

• Authenticated users: 3 receipt uploads per 24-hour period
• Anonymous users: No upload capability (must sign in)

Note: Currently, the 24-hour period resets at midnight UTC. User timezone support is planned for a future update.

Repeated violations of rate limits or attempts to circumvent them may result in account suspension.

Account Termination

Alibee reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts at any time for:

• Violation of these Terms of Service
• Uploading prohibited content
• Abusive or illegal behavior
• Suspected fraud or security threats
• Any reason at Alibee's sole discretion

Users may delete their accounts at any time through account settings. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland. Polish courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the service, regardless of which domain you use to access Paragonix.

Terms Acceptance

By signing in to Paragonix, you agreed to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. Continued use of the service constitutes ongoing acceptance of these terms.

If you do not agree to these terms, you must stop using the service immediately and delete your account.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, service features, or legal requirements. Users will be notified of significant changes via banner notification upon next login.

Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
